Japan Blue started from this casual question "Could you sell it?" from famous jeans designer.
We had exhibited the denim fabric at Denim by Premier vision in Paris, an annual event hosting many designers. We had produce a pair of sample jeans as a denim fabric sample for a designer, but this desginer wanted to have these sample jeans for himself.
He was not alone as many designer from USA and other European countries also wanted to buy jeans. Althogh we have absolute confidence in the denim fabric, the jeans were not mean to be worn but only as a sample for vewing.
We want to make the best jeans as much as possible that you will love and that it will stand the test of time even if you wear the jeans for a long time. Thus we started making these jeans.
However it was not an easy feat to produce such jeans as many professional designers and major brands loves. We had to create an absolutely beautiful silhouette to satisfy such people. So we tried a variety of silhouettes, and through trial and error, we found the right design.

Some people just want to wear a well made pair of Jeans. So we started the Japan Blue brand.

Today, our jeans are perceived by Japanese and international buyers as a combination of high quality jeans with sophiscated silhouttes
